DHA.mil Project Overview Presentation - POP

DHA.mil was envisioned and built from the ground up as a modern, user-centered digital experience for the Defense Health Agency (DHA). From discovery through implementation, we led the complete UX process, including stakeholder workshops, user interviews, journey mapping, personas, research, information architecture, usability analysis, and high-fidelity interface design. Every decision was driven by user needs and organizational goals, resulting in an accessible, Section 508-compliant platform that is intuitive, scalable, and designed to provide support to millions of users world-wide.
 

To ensure long-term success, we created a comprehensive design system and a reusable library of HTML templates that became the foundation of the Sitecore CMS implementation. This provided DHA teams and content authors with the tools to independently create and manage content while maintaining a consistent experience across the platform. We designed and developed an extensive component library featuring interactive facility map, mega navigation, timelines, organizational charts, directories, calculators, dynamic scrolling experiences, and intelligent content rules.

The platform has been widely praised by stakeholders for its flexibility, usability, and maintainability, and has become a reference point for other federal agencies developing modern, accessible digital experiences.
