October 18, 2007
Falls Church, Virginia. Axiom Resource Management, Inc., has been selected as one of the greatest places to work in the Washington metropolitan area by Washingtonian magazine. The “Great Places to Work” issue hits newsstands October 18. This is the second time Axiom has been chosen for this outstanding honor.
Axiom was one of only 60 organizations to earn the “Great Place to Work” title. The management consulting firm was chosen from more than 225 candidates because of its corporate culture, collegial staff, interesting work, pay and benefits, employee retention, and employee development.
“I am exceedingly proud of the men and women of Axiom,” said Axiom Partner Ben Hankins. “Axiom is truly a family, and this distinction reinforces and honors the value we all share for each other.” Hankins added, “I would like to thank Washingtonian magazine for this honor, and most importantly, to thank the people of Axiom for the exceptional work they do every day.”
Axiom’s Partner Kevin Riley stated, “Washingtonian magazine’s ‘Great Places to Work’ designation is celebrated and respected throughout the DC area. I am overjoyed that Axiom has been selected for the second time.” He added that “this recognition is illustrative of Axiom’s priorities— to take great care of our clients, our fellow Axiom employees, and our neighbors in the community.”
“I was impressed with the quality and depth of the evaluation process,” said A. Douglas Peardon, Axiom Partner. “The evaluation process was extremely thorough; more than 120 staff members completed an in-depth survey on their overall satisfaction with Axiom,” he said. “I believe that the spirit and energy of Axiom came through, and helped us earn this distinctive recognition.”
Axiom is a professional consulting firm providing program management, operational support, accessibility, management training, and IT solutions. The firm delivers studies and analysis, marketing, distance learning, and Web support. Axiom was honored as one of Washington’s “50 Great Places to Work” by Washingtonian magazine in 2005, and was also chosen as a “Best Place to Work in Washington” by Washington Business Journal in 2007. Axiom has more than 500 professionals and annual revenues exceeding $66 million.
