Axiom's Didactics Division Wins National Registry Contract

September 12, 2007

Falls Church, Virginia. Didactics, a division of Axiom Resource Management, Inc., has been awarded a contract to assist the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration in providing contractor support in the planning and development for the proposed National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners programs. The three-year contract is valued at over $9 million.

Under the contract, Didactics will continue supporting the Physical Qualifications Division of FMCSA toward the training, certification and listing on a National Registry of medical examiners who conduct commercial motor vehicle (CMV) driver physical qualification examinations. Two additional programs come under this support contract: the Medical Review Board, which provides advice to FMCSA on the medical standards and guidelines for the physical qualification of CMV drivers, and the development and improvement of the Skill Performance Evaluation program in support of regulatory changes for limb-amputee CMV drivers.

"This is a huge win for Pat Brown and our entire Didactics team," said A. Douglas Peardon, Axiom partner. "We are delighted that the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has put its trust in us, and we pledge to continue to provide superb support under this contract."

Pat Brown, Didactics Division President, expressed his happiness with the award. "The National Registry is a vital program that affects the safety of virtually every American, and the men and women of Didactics are proud to support it," he said.
