Axiom At Mid-Year: On Track for Superb 2003

July 21, 2003

Falls Church, Virginia. Officers with Axiom Resource Management, Inc. announced at a mid-year review today that the company is on track to meet its target for contract wins in 2003. Through the first six months of this year, Axiom-a diversified firm providing technical and program management support to federal agencies and private sector clients-won 28 new contracts worth an aggregate value of just over $25.3 million.

"So far, it's been an excellent year for Axiom," said Frank Cumberland, the company's vice president for marketing, communications, and strategic planning. "We're ahead of our mid-year milestone and we've won 28 of the 36 proposals we've prepared so far this year. That's like batting over .750 in the big leagues."

Officers attributed the growth to Axiom's reputation for outstanding client support. The company is also proud of its solid record of holding on to the business of current clients-the consulting industry's most important measure of the quality of a company's work. This year, Axiom has won contract awards to support the TRICARE Management Activity's (TMA) program management directorate, to help TRICARE meet all federal requirements under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, and to help support TRICARE On Line, the Military Health System's web-based health information portal.

"TRICARE is a critical component of America's military readiness, and we're proud to support this vital program," said Axiom Partner Kevin Riley. "Our soldiers overseas must have total confidence that their families back home have access to great medical care. Axiom is doing our part to help TRICARE serve America's military families."

Diversification is another force fueling Axiom's growth. "Our Conwal Division has enjoyed lasting relationships with the Federal Aviation Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention," said Executive Vice President Kevin Riley. "Our Gober Keener Division lets Axiom deliver Cabinet-level expertise to Department of Veterans Affairs clients. And Our Keymind Division links us with clients such as the Reserve Officers Association and the Navy League." Riley also pointed to Didactics Division's recent Small Business Innovative Research contract with Naval Aviation Systems, noting that this "is more evidence of Axiom's ability to provide essential services to a diverse, talented group of clients."

"We want to serve our clients, to grow our business, and to enjoy our work along the way," said Doug Peardon, Axiom Partner. "It's great to see Axiom is on track for a superb year in 2003."
