Axiom Annual Golf Tournament

Event Description:
Each year Axiom's staff, friends, and supporters gather for a day of fun for the Axiom Golf Tournament. This year's event will be held on Wednesday, October 26th, at the Westfields Golf Club in Clifton, Virginia (check-in begins at 7:30 a.m., play begins at 8:30 a.m.). All proceeds of the tournament will be donated to the Fisher House Foundation. Fisher Houses are located on the campus of 34 military and veterans medical centers, offering military families the chance to lodge as close as possible to loved ones requiring hospitalization for wounds, illness, or serious injury.
The money raised at our tournament will be dedicated to supporting the Fisher House mission at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, National Naval Medical Center Bethesda, and Malcolm Grow Medical Center. These Washington-area Fisher Houses are providing tremendous support for service personnel returning from combat in Afghanistan and Iraq, and Axiom is proud to support their efforts. Axiom raised over $35,000 at last year's event for the Fisher House Foundation. We expect another successful event this year! "Fisher Houses work miracles for military families every day," said Frank Cumberland, Axiom vice-president for communications, "and with our nation at war, we can't imagine a better organization for Axiom to support than the Fisher House Foundation."
Registration fees are $125 per player. Golfers may choose to register as individuals or to build a foursome and register as a team. Registration closes Friday, October 7th.
