Kevin C. Riley is one of the two managing partners at Axiom Resource Management, Incorporated.
Axiom, a professional consulting firm, provides program management, operational support, accessibility, management training, and IT solutions. Axiom also provides studies and analysis, marketing, distance learning, and Web support.
The firm's success is built on three pillars: provide great support for clients, take care of the people of Axiom, and be a positive presence in the larger community. Axiom has been selected a "Great Place to Work in Washington" by both Washingtonian magazine and Washington Business Journal.
Axiom clients include the TRICARE Management Activity, Social Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Labor, the Navy League, and the Council on Foundations.
With a career that spans more than 30 years in developing small businesses from inception to maturation, Kevin's speciality is developing small business federal government contracting companies from inception to maturity. His experience includes all areas of operations, marketing, and finance. Kevin has helped companies flourish in a variety of sectors such as software development and engineering, military intelligence, chemical and scientific products distribution, management consulting, and architecture and construction management. He has been a partner in nine government contracting firms, each time utilizing his expertise in growing companies from the ground up. He has variously served as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of these companies. In these roles, he has gained the breadth of experience in federal contracting which is not often found.
Kevin is a past contributing editor of "Set Aside Alert" and has been published numerous times for articles on federal procurement law, proposal writing, accounting standards, and contract and project management. He also teaches seminars in selling to the federal government. Kevin has a Master of Business Administration degree from Marymount University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Minnesota.
