Axiom was selected one of the Washington area's "Great Places to Work" by Washingtonian magazine. While we are proud of this distinction, we know we must continue to improve the quality of work life by delivering greater opportunities, challenges, and flexibility. We've got the best people, and we want to keep them!
Corporate citizenship and civic commitment
- The Annual Axiom Charity Golf Tournament raises funds for the Fisher House Foundation, helping the families of military personnel who have been wounded in combat. Axiom has donated more than $63,000 to the Fisher House Foundation.
- Axiom has supported Rebuilding Together Alexandria since 1998, and we will continue this important work, refurbishing the homes of neighbors in need.
- Axiom has created a Business/Academic Partnership with the Minority Students of Robinson Secondary School. Known as "Robinson 555," the partnership offers $5,000 in scholarships, five student internships at Axiom, and participation with Axiom in Rebuilding Together Alexandria.
- We have "adopted" Mt. Vernon Community School in Alexandria, Virginia, and we provide mentors, reading helpers, career-day speakers, and school supplies to help them meet their educational mission.
- Axiom partner, Ben Hankins serves on the board of trustees of Saint Paul's College in Lawrenceville, Virginia, one of America's Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
Our people count
Axiom leadership works hard to keep and develop its employees, while meeting the changing needs of client contracts. We're proud of the large number of new employees who come to us via referrals from current staff members. That's a sign of trust.
A team beyond the workplace
We've got softball, basketball, and soccer teams playing in community leagues in Falls Church, Virginia, and Aurora, Colorado. We have fun when the work is done. Our holiday party and summer picnic are legendary-one year the holiday party lasted until the picnic!
